Wrecking Queen” in the World of Girls’ Bands; Victorious Message from BiSH, a Punk Band Performing Without Musical Instruments

Publish at 2016/06/07

This may seem an abrupt question, but do you know how many girls’ groups are there in Japan today?

Surprisingly, there are about 500 girls’ idol groups based in Tokyo, and about 750 groups in non-Tokyo cities. So, totally about 1,300 groups!

Among numerous girls’ bands, one called BiSH (Bisshu) newly debuted from Avex on May 4, 2016 with DEADMAN, which was presumably the shortest song in major single history. Have you heard about it?

BiSH is the successor of BiS (Brand-new Idol Society), a sensational idol band which unfortunately disbanded.

But what indeed is BiS, the predecessor of BiSH like?
The former BiS manager told us the charming points of the band in a members interview before the 24-hour event ‘24 Hour Party BiSH' on May 2, 2016 (Mon).
